Message from Our Principal, Aiveen Carr
You are very welcome to Shellybanks ETNS. I am Aiveen Carr and have been working in the school since 2017. I was appointed Principal in September 2022. The website is only a glimpse of what makes Shellybanks ETNS distinctive. Please contact us if you would like to get more information about our wonderful school.
We are an equality-based, state-funded, co-educational school under the patronage of Educate Together. Our ethos is inclusive and we welcome children from families of all faiths and none. At Shellybanks we have developed a strong and caring whole school community, which has helped us grow from strength to strength. We actively encourage participation and partnership with our parents and guardians.
The atmosphere in Shellybanks is safe, calm and caring. Our staff ensure our children are at the centre of everything we do and we have a strong emphasis on pupil voice. The warm, welcoming and caring environment that exists in Shellybanks ETNS has been nurtured by our pupils, teachers, parents/guardians, PTA and Board of Management since the school opened in 2014.
Our name reflects the location of the school near Shelley Banks Beach. We are located in Roslyn Park just off Sandymount Village
